eclipse-rse software package provides Eclipse Remote System Explorer (RSE), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-rse
eclipse-rse is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-rse package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-rse *
You will get with eclipse-rse package name, version, architecture and description in a table
